Pastors Ken and Brooke Kendall assumed the lead pastor role in August 2010. Pastor Ken has been an ordained minister for twenty plus years and holds his credentials with the Assemblies of God of Kansas. After meeting at Central Bible College and traveling with Revivaltime Choir from 1985-1989 Ken and Brooke went out into full time ministry. They served as youth pastors for over 17 years in Ottawa , Topeka and Wichita, Kansas as well as Lancaster Pennsylvania. During that time, Pastor Ken enjoyed district leadership as well in the youth departments of both states as sectional representatives and secretary of the youth department of Kansas.
In 2004, Pastor Ken and Brooke assumed the lead pastor role at Faith Community Church in the Washington D.C./Baltimore area in Mount Airy, Maryland. The church grew and flourished under their leadership. In August of 2010, God spoke to them and moved their family to the Kansas City Metroplex to assume an active role of leadership here.
With a Bachelor's Degree from Central Bible College in 1989, Pastor Ken has recently completed his Master's degree in church ministry from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
The Kendall's have three wonderful children:Brendan, Brienna, and Bryson who are active in the church and enjoy helping in the ministry.
The Kendall's are excited for the plans that God has to reach and build a community of faith in the Kansas City area and hope to expand his Kingdom by touching the lives of people in Wyandotte, Johnson, Leavenworth counties and beyond for the glory of God.
